Stephen Douglas Brown, Jr.

Stephen was born on October 18, 1946, in Flint, Michigan, to Stephen Brown, Sr. and Barbara (McCormick) Brown. He served as a Deacon at Unity Presbyterian Church in Mount Morris, and was a very good Christian man. During Vietnam, he was a Sergeant in the United States Army. Stephen enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, fishing and gardening. He also took great pride in caring for his yard. For twenty years, Stephen along with his wife Toni, managed True Green Laundry and Dry Cleaners along with even working his entire career at Flint Warm Air.

Stephen was the definition of a devoted family man, and his loving legacy will remain with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege to know him.

Stephen leaves behind his loving wife of fifty-three years, Toni (Park) Brown of Flint, MI; son Joseph (Lindsay) Brown of Flint, MI; daughter Stephanie (Angela) Brown of Grand Blanc, MI; brother George Brown of Dade City, FL; sisters Sylvia Torok of Alpena, MI and Paula (Ronald Takacs of Grand Blanc, MI; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Stephen is preceded in death by his father Stephen D. Brown, Sr. and mother Barbara J. Brown.

A funeral service for Stephen will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 4:00PM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI with visitation one hour prior. The funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Hakbae Moon.
