Stanley was born on November 22, 1925 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Stanley and Nora Perry. He proudly served his country from February 23, 1944 to December 7, 1945 in the United States Air Force.
On October 4, 1952 in Grand Blanc, Michigan he married the love of his life Edith Edgerton. Stanley worked for 23 years, retiring in 1987. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and MSU fan, loved to garden, bowling, and was a history buff. Stanley was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his children, Paul (Brundilde) Perry, Ardith (Dar) Nielsen; grandchildren: Kiel Nielsen, Nicole (Kevin) Evanson; great grandchildren: Elin Rose Evanson, Rowan Vonn Evanson; and adopted grandsons, Clay and Wade Atherton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Nora Perry; wife, Edith Perry; brother, Richard Perry; sister, Roberta Corlew; brother-in-law, Dewey Corlew.
