Ronald Joel Crank Sr.

CRANK Sr. Ronald Joel, age 77, of Burton, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at his daughter's home. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Friday, July 31, 2015 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 10:00AM Friday until time of service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Memorial donations may be made to Karmanos Cancer Center.

Ron was born October 28, 1937 in Flint, the son of the late Ira and Carol (Woodward) Crank. He married Irene Jimerfield in Flint in September 19, 1959 and she preceded him in death on February 21, 2015. Ron and Irene were the proud owners of Crank's Motel until retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling around the world with Irene. Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Surviving are his son, Ronald Crank Jr. and wife, Deborah of Grand Blanc; daughter, Jamie Stevens and husband, Chuck of Oakland Twp.; grandchildren, Justin Tatum and fiancee, Ashley Lewis, Bryan Stevens, Matthew Stevens and wife, Emily, Trevor Crank, Jordan Stevens; sisters, Pauline Schnarr and husband Lloyd, Linda Healy and husband, Mike, Kathy Penrod, sister-in-law, Shirley Betts and husband, Dale; brother-in-law, Orley Voliva; many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

He was also preceded in death by his; sister, Joanne McLean.
