Marilyn Louise Ohler, age 73, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was born on January 19,1951 in Flint, Michigan to the late James and Mary (MacKellar) Houghtelling. She was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, and she attended and graduated from the Flint Community Schools. She loved playing poker, trips to Vegas, listening to music, preferably Elvis Presley (he was her favorite), going to concerts, but most of all spending time with her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be missed dearly.
She leaves to cherish her memory in their heart, her children; Jody (Scott) Taylor, Dave (Amy) Ohler and Jeff (Jennifer) Ohler, grand-daughters; Marissa ( William) Caraway, Courtney Taylor and Kimberly ( Jared) Hafer, grandsons; Tanner Spivey, Matthew Ohler, and JJ Ohler, great-grandson Jaxsen, sister; Sharon McCraw and brother James (Janice) Houghtelling. Special thanks to her niece Janette Decker and her sister Sharon McCraw for all of your love and support you have given to our mom.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; David Ohler, son; Matthew Ohler and sister; Kathryn Decker.
A memorial gathering for Marilyn will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
