James K. Pickering Jr.

James K. Pickering, Jr. - age 67, passed away on December 7, 2020 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10am - 11am at Hill Funeral Home - 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI. A private funeral service will be held. Interment will be at Crestwood Memorial Gardens, Grand Blanc, MI. James was born on July 29, 1953 to James and Irma Pickering in Flint, Michigan. He held a few different positions throughout his career; he was a mail courier for a bank, maintenance manager at Al Serra Chevrolet, and a collections officer. James enjoyed spending time with his family and hearing all about his many nieces and nephews. He was amazing at Crossword puzzles and an avid University of Michigan fan. James will be deeply missed. He is survived by his mother, Irma Pickering; siblings: Catherine DeSota, Carole (Marvin) MacRae, Janine (John) Hewlett, David (Jenny) Pickering; and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James K. Pickering, Sr. In compliance with state and local mandates, guests will be limited to 25 people inside the funeral home at a time; facial coverings must be worn inside the funeral home, and social distancing will be in effect.
