Gail Marie Medvecky

MEDVECKY, Gail Marie – age 66 of Grand Blanc, MI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 2PM-4PM & 6PM-8PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 11AM at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Gail was born July 31, 1949 in East Cleveland, OH to Charles Joseph and Violet Ruth (Markovich) Fleming. Her phenomenal organizational skills made her successful in her career. Gail loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She enjoyed old movies, baking, and spending time in Florida. Family was her biggest joy of all and she dearly cherished her times spent with her grandchildren. Gail is survived by her husband, Paul Medvecky; daughter, Kimberly (Gregg) Nichols; stepsons, Michael (Brooke) Medvecky, Jeffrey (Juliet) Medvecky; stepdaughter, Jennifer (John) Sulfridge; grandchildren, Cohen Medvecky, Ian Medvecky, Owen Medvecky, Jessica Sulfridge, Matthew Sulfridge, and one grandbaby on the way; and legions of fans. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to all of the wonderful doctors and nurses that contributed to Gail’s care, including Heartland Hospice, Henry Ford Hospital, and University of Michigan Hospital - Ann Arbor.
