Frederick Carl Grimm

Frederick C. Grimm - age 70, passed away on March 7, 2021 in Flint, Michigan. Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 11am - 4pm at Hill Funeral Home - 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. A private family memorial service will be held.

Carl was born in Louisville, KY on May 31, 1950 to John E. and Charlotte R. (Allen) Grimm. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later married Gina on Nov 15th 1991. Together they enjoyed many miles side by side on their Harleys. He enjoyed working on motorcycles and was especially proud of the one he built for her. He was a member of the American Legion Post 67 in Lincoln Park Michigan and a member of the American Legion riders founding chapter Post 396 of Garden City, Michigan. He also enjoyed summers at their lake house fishing, boating, campfires, and barbecues with family and friends and his dog Lucy. She was his couch companion for watching football and NASCAR.

Frederick is survived by his wife, Gina Grimm and her sons Tony Hancotte and Matthew (DeAnna) Moore; grandchildren: Anthony Hancotte, Aiyana Moore, Nakomis Moore; mother, Charlotte R. Grimm; brother and sister in laws, Alan (Karen) Grimm and John (Dotty) Grimm; and nieces and nephews: Adam, Ryan, Erik, Amanda, Stacy, Erin, Heather, Heidi; fur family, Lucy and Abbey. He was preceded in death by his father, John E. Grimm; brother, Phillip A. Grimm; and sister, Beverly A. Kissel. Our family would like to personally thank the care givers and staff of Ascension Genesys hospice. They are angels. Thank you.
