Esther Jane Norris

Esther Jane (Vaughn) Norris was born November 2, 1936 in Thompsonville, Illinois. She was 85 years of age. Jane passed from this life December 14, 4:55 p.m. She is survived by husband Arthur Eugene "Gene" Norris; sons, Kevin (Debra) Norris and Jeffrey (Christina) Norris; grandchildren: Sarah (Jameson) Blade, Hanna Norris, Caleb Norris, Josiah Norris.

Jane was a native of Thompsonville, Illinois and resided in Grand Blanc, Michigan at the time of her death. She attended the Thompsonville Community High School.

She was a lifelong homemaker and served the Lord faithfully as church custodian for many years. She also managed the Christian Supply Centre in Benton, Illinois. Jane was an excellent seamstress, an accomplished interior decorator, musician, and her passion was teaching the Bible to children using flannelgraph and other visuals. Jane died from pancreatic cancer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Brown Funeral Home- 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00am with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Private family interment will be held at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Michigan.
