Donna Camille Nicholson

Per Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and family for a prayer service at 3pm with visitation from 4-7pm, on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Donna was born on January 25, 1942 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of the late James and Gurli Ramsey. Donna graduated from Lansing Sexton High School and Central Michigan University where she met her lifelong friends and husband, the love of her life, David Lee Nicholson.

Donna taught Business and Computer Programming at Goodrich High School for over 20 years. She loved teaching and being a mentor to her students.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren were her life. Donna shared her love for beading and basket weaving with several of her close friends. Donna took great pride in making scrapbooks and jewelry.

Donna is survived by her children; Tracey Nicholson (Tom Trently) and Jamie (Heather) Nicholson; grandchildren: Ramsey, Ellyson and Julia Nicholson; and many nieces and nephews. Donna was delighted to welcome Sarah (Kurt) Ravenfeld, TJ (April) Trently, Benjamin (Sabrina) Trently, Tripp and Gracie Ravenfeld, and Elijah Trently in to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Nicholson, her parents, and her brother William Ramsey.
