Donna Jean Gunther

Donna Jean Gunther, age 87, of Au Gres, passed away on Saturday December 4, 2021 at Ascension hospital in Standish, Michigan. She was the daughter of Valetta and Gerald Birdsall born in Cheboygan, Michigan. Donna retired from GM in 1991 when she moved to Au Gres. She was a devoted christian and a very active member of her community. She touched many people in her lifetime with her kind hearted, selfless, generous spirit. She participated in many charity projects and gave endlessly to those in need. She formally spent many years singing in the Salvation Army choir. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, and collecting points on her iPad. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, her children; Bill, Deborah, and John, brothers; Gerald and David Birdsall, parents; Valetta and Gerald Birdsall, and granddaughter; Jennifer Gunther. Surviving are her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter, daughter in law, and sister in law. Family will be holding a private viewing.
