Daniel Arthur Krug

KRUG, Daniel Arthur, age 77, left this life on Wednesday, October 17th. Mr. Krug was employed for 44 years in the Quality Control Division of General Motors Parts Operations. During his 15 years of retirement, thereafter, Daniel engaged in his “true” passion – golf. He was famous for playing nine days a week – weather permitting! Dan was known by a host of friends in his condo association as “The Mayor,” because he greeted everyone at gatherings and made each person feel as though they were the guest of honor. Dan leaves his wife, Dr. Sandra Kay Krug, to cherish him and their 35 year partnership. He is also survived by sons, Fredric Krug and fiancée Jessica Kister, Rick Krug, Keith Krug, and daughter, Rosemarie Christy. In honor of Daniel’s wishes, a private memorial has been held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society. Dan was a strong advocate for this organization that provided his wife and him with several “adopted” additions to their family throughout the years.
