He was born on Cunjal Road in Trinidad & Tobago on December 10, 1945 to the late Moonasar & Ratnee Moonasar.
By trade, he worked in transportation as a bus driver; but, all knew him best as “MagicianSammy”, a musician, magician and entertainer. His joy was to make people happy!
We will miss him very much...
He was preceded in death by his siblings – Sadoo, Popo, Sadae, Sookday, and Doll.
Samaroo is survived by his loving wife (and faithful magician’s assistant) Mamin Moonasar; children – Ravi Moonasar, Meera Samaroo, Navin Moonasar, Anil Moonasar; son in law, Rajesh Samaroo aka Poylin, and daughter in law, Annie Moonasar; grandchildren- Dylan, Brianna, Nishad, Akash, Aryaan; and brothers, Ramdass Moonasar, Boodram Moonasar.
