Jean Albert Gauthier

He was the beloved husband of the late Joanne (Petrarca) Gauthier. They were married on May 8, 1965.

Jean worked as a machinist for many years at Plastic Mold, Inc. and Tupperware. He also worked as a security guard for Universal Studios Florida, a job he greatly enjoyed. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

Jean enjoyed any kind of dessert, especially chocolate, going to theme parks, talking on his shortwave radio, and visits from family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters Karen Silva (David) and Pamela Culver, and his son Steven Gauthier (Ashley), his grandchildren Jordan and Jonathan Silva, Benjamin, William, Charlie and Ellie Gauthier, and his great-granddaughters Juliet and Josephina Silva, and his sister Therese Gauthier Fishman. He also had several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Jean will be held Friday, November 15, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Floridia 34734. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Resurrection Catholic Church, 1211 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Winter Garden, Florida 34787. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, Florida 34734.
