While cleaning out my attic today, I came across a 1978 letter from Jack D. Seeley concerning employment with Southland.  I ended up taking a job as an SSA rep for Southand.  I have nothing but good memories of Jack.  He impressed me with his his outgoing and friendly personality, and that had a very positive effect on my life.  I wish he was still here.  I would love to thank him.  Regardless, I will be forever grateful.

I didn’t know Jack well, we only met at events like family weddings. I didn’t need to know him well to become fond of him because he was  an instantly likeable chap! I have memories of his visits when I was younger and there was a lot of good humoured banter between Jack and my father, often about British cars. Jack said they were too small to be useful! He sent dad a photo of a huge American car with Jack reclined in the open boot (trunk)! He was much loved and will be missed.

Jack came to England and whisked my best friend away to America where they have had a lovely long life together so I guess that visit was meant to be so Jack I forgive you and  I know you will have left a great legacy of memories for your family and will be sadly missed. As a child I'd always remember being so excited when told that Uncle Jack and Auntie Jean were coming from America to visit. 
I was always mesmerized by Jacks beaming smile and him being so kind and gentle. 

My fondest memory is when I was lucky enough to stay with Jack & Jean in Florida just after my 21st birthday.  His humour, generosity and kindness was as great as the man himself. 

Uncle Jack, a true man and gentleman. 
Will be missed for long.

I worked with Jack at Southland, Orlando and have many fond memories of Jack both in the office and on the golf course. Jack was a great sounding board during difficult times. He was honest, loyal and very dependable

Jack and Jean are members of our church.  They always have smiles for everyone and it is a true pleasure knowing them both.  We will miss Jack so much and our prayers continue for Jean and their family.  It is good knowing he is completely well again.  RIP

I knew Jack very little as I was younger. But do remember him some around deer season. But Uncle Mike and Aunt Kate were some good people.  As they lived just a mile south of us. Used to have to help cousin Kay get the cattle around before milking time. Sorry to hear Jack passed. Edward Seely

Jack greeted me with the biggest smile every time we saw each other. He was one of the few people that could zing me.
