She was born to J.D. and Kathleen Horne on June 11th, 1934, in West Virginia. She was married to Clifford Gene Ruble for 51 wonderful years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. After Gene’s passing, Evelyn found love again and was married James Bellew for 17 years.
Evelyn found The Lord early in her life and loved to spread his Word whenever she could. She was an active member of the Victory Church in Apopka. Evelyn loved cooking large family meals, and her home was the source of many holiday celebrations over the years.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter Deborah Massey of Lawrenceville, GA, by her daughter Vicky Cavanaugh of Sparta, GA, by her daughter Kathy Fioto of Apopka, FL, by her son Terry Ruble of Eustis, FL, and her daughter Michelle Hamood of Apopka, FL; As well as fourteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in heaven by her husband Gene Ruble, her husband James Bellew, and her son James Ruble.
An intimate celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
