He attended Clinton High School in Tennessee where he played football. After high school he worked as a salesman for Brown Shoe Company, which led him to Orlando, Florida in 1974, where he remained. In the late 1980's he started his own Lawn Care business, from which he retired from after 20 plus years.
Douglas' hobbies included playing Golf, Woodworking, Competitive Marksmanship and playing games such as Checkers, Chess and Dominoes. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan.
He was preceeded in death by his brother Neil Paschall, and is survived by his son Eric Paschall, who resides in Alaska, his Granddaughter Elisabeth Paschall of Florida, and by his Fiancee Florence Greeson of Georgia. He is also survived by his sisters Noraleen Stearns (Florida), Kathleen Anderson (Georgia), and by his brother Wayne Paschall (Texas). He also leaves behind numerous extended family members.
Douglas was hardworking, smart, kind, GREAT sense of humor, generous and thoughtful. He was a loving Father, Brother, and Friend.
