He was born March 4, 1955 at Fort Sam Houston, TX to the (late) Lawrence "Larry" & Jeannette Westerskov.
Dave was a Christian first and foremost. He was also a talented professional musician, who used his trumpet to glorify God. Having been band director at The First Academy and later at Windermere Preparatory School, he taught and mentored students.
Dave is survived by his wife, (Annette), their son Ryan "Scout", brother Russell Westerskov and his wife Terry, and their children Jeffrey Westerskov and Shelley Boyd.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, FL, where Dave will be privately laid to rest.
His Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church of Winter Garden, 125 Plant Street, Winter Garden FL 34787 on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 7pm.
