Teniusha "Nisha G" Joann Griffin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Teniusha Joann Griffin, of Avondale, AZ, who departed this life on October 3, 2024, in Goodyear, AZ. Born on June 30, 1993, in Chicago, IL, Teniusha was the beloved daughter of Melvin Griffin and Ruby R Evans, both of whom preceded her in death.

Teniusha was known for her fun-loving spirit, kind heart, and infectious laughter. Her ability to brighten a room with her humor and her gift for offering wise advice made her a cherished friend and confidante to many. She attended Hickory Elementary School and graduated from Washington High School, where her vibrant personality and zest for life left a lasting impression on her classmates.

Following her passion for helping others, Teniusha pursued a career in phlebotomy, and she later served as an MVD agent for Southwest Title Loans, where her dedication shone through in her work.

Teniusha is survived by her loving spouse, Bobby Ray Granville II; her sister, Timicka; and her cherished nieces, Rakiya and Miracle. She is also remembered by her aunts Shwanda, Renee, Clovetta, Dwanna, and Alice; her uncle Walthal; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends who were touched by her warmth and generosity.

In celebrating her life, we remember Teniusha for her laughter, her unwavering support, and her willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation for Nisha G will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, Arizona 85338, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
