Tadeusz “Ted” Szabala , 64, of Avondale, formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away on July 6, 2012 at the Hospice of the Valley in Surprise, AZ. He was born October 28, 1947 in Heidelberg, Germany to Boleslaw and Urszula Szabala.
He was in the United States Air Force, serving two terms in the Vietnam War. He grew up in Buffalo, New York, moving to AZ 15 years ago.
He was a manager for Circle K, then served the last 4 years as a Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service in Goodyear and Avondale, Arizona.
He is preceded by his parents Boleslaw and Urszula Szabala. He is survived by sisters Sabina and Sonja (husband Christopher); brother Rick (wife Millie); Nieces and nephews Nicole, Matthew, Andrew, Kiah, Jake, Nicholaus, Erik, Elliott, and Shaelyn; Great-Grandnephew and niece Micah & Liliana.
A memorial service will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday July 10 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ.
