Doroteo Palafox Gomez

Doroteo Palafox, age 60, passed away on June 14, 2023. Born in Hidalgo, Mexico, Doroteo lived most of his life in Los Angeles before recently moving to Tonopah, AZ with his wife, Lucia, and their children Giovanni, Noe, Vanessa, Liz, Wendy, and Brittany. He found great joy tending to his farm animals and cherishing moments with his family. Doroteo was a hard worker and loved life. His resilience and profound sense of humor will forever be remembered. Doroteo was a pillar of strength and love, supporting his wife, Lucia, and embracing his role as a devoted father. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Doroteo Palafox is survived by his wife, Lucia; sons Giovanni and Noe; daughters Vanessa, Liz, Wendy, and Brittany; and numerous extended family members and dear friends. As we celebrate his remarkable life, let us find solace in his legacy of love and compassion. May Doroteo's soul find eternal rest, and may his family be comforted by the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

The funeral mass for Doroteo Palafox Gomez will be held at 10am, June 23 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (5614 West Orangewood Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301).

A visitation will follow at 5pm, June 23 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (918 South Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85301).

Burial will take place at 12:30pm on June 24 at West Resthaven Cemetary (6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85301).
