Hettie Marie Wilcox, 62, of Avondale, AZ passed away at home December 22, 2011. Marie was born in Durango, CO July 16, 1949 to Glenn and Mary Richardson. She fell in love with the Spanish language in her teens, which led to her meeting Danny Wilcox and his family.
Marie is survived by Danny Wilcox; her two daughters, Valerie Wilcox DelRosario, and Natalie Antoinette Rodriguez; brother, Clifford Richardson. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Shawn L. Deadwiler II, Dasani DelRosario, Nayeli Rodriguez, Arlet Rodriguez, and Brisa Rodriguez. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Clifford Richardson and Mary Ellen Richardson; sister Doris Ann Wheeler; and son, Danny Wilcox Jr.
