Margaret Romines

Margaret Romines, age 81, was lifted up on eagle's wings for her journey to heaven on Sunday, May 18, 2014. She was born in  Liverpool, England on September 19, 1932 to John David and Elizabeth (Rooney) McCowen. She was preceded in death by her husband William H. (Bill) Romines, Jr. Survivors include; sons William (Leslie) Romines of San Diego, CA and John David (Monica)  Romines of Beavercreek, OH, and daughter Connie (Dale) Woolum of Southgate, CA; grandchildren Nathaniel (Kris) Romines of Buckeye, AZ, Rachel Romines of Carmel, IN, William Romines of Vancouver, BC, Veronica Romines of San Diego, CA, and Everett (Katrina) Woolum of Southgate, CA; great-grandchildren Leanne, Matthew, and Kayla Romines, and Nicholas and Danielle Woolum; and sisters May Tait and Rose Mullin of Liverpool, England. Margaret touched countless lives through her many years of volunteer work with her church. She leaves behind numerous friends who enjoyed her kind words, ever-present positive attitude, tremendous sense of humor, and beautiful smile. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandma, nanny, sister, and friend who will be sorely missed and long remembered. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Avondale, AZ.
