Kathryn Nessenthaler

Kathryn “Kay” Elizabeth Anne Nessenthaler, 97, of Litchfield Park, passed away October 29, 2012.  She was born June 14, 1915 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to loving parents, William and Katherine Nessenthaler. 

Kay was a very astute savvy business woman, having owned her own hardware/plumbing store for many years.  She was a world traveler, a voracious reader, a tireless volunteer, a champion golfer, an avid sports fan, a very competitive domino’s and board game player and an angel pin collector.  She loved God, her family, her many, many friends and life.  She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her three nieces, Mary Hensell (Harry), Ruth Schreiber (James), Nancy Nitti (William); thirteen great nieces and nephews, 28 great-great nieces and nephews, and ten great-great-great nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary H. (Nessenthaler) Frye.

A visitation will be held at 6pm Monday, November 5th; Rosary at 6:30pm, at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear, AZ.
