Clark was a true Arizonan for the next 60 plus years, spending most of that time in the West Valley. During his early years he enjoyed playing football, motocross, hunting and outdoor/recreation. He graduated from Maryvale High School in 1972 and began a 20 plus year career in the aerospace machinery field. Clark married the love of his life and was a dedicated loving father of two by the early 1980’s.
His passion for hunting and fishing the great outdoors in a Ford Truck never ceased. Papa’s love for hunting deer, elk and taking the backroads whenever possible made adventures for all. While Clark was known as “Diamond Jim” for the way he adventured, his family called him “Mr. Arizona” for his vast knowledge of it all. Clark is additionally remembered for keeping an eye out to help those in need of council, advice, sports or just a game of Jeopardy!
Clark is survived by his Wife Kris and son Clifford Johnson, grandchildren Annie, Caden and Caylee Johnson. He was preceded in death by his Loving parents Don and Mary Johnson, sister Susan, and Daughter Taylor.
There will be a celebration of life ceremony at Thompson Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 21st, 2022 from 1pm-4pm.
