Jennie Villarreal

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Richard Villarreal; her sons Antonio Villarreal and Christopher Villarreal; and many close friends and family members. She was mother to Ricky Villarreal who passed away in 1990.

Born November 24, 1951 in Lubbock Texas. daughter to Antonio and Lupe Acevedo, she worked in banking for many years but was instrumental in the operations of the Villarreal family business for 22 years.

A devoted mother and wife, Jennie found her calling as a caregiver late in life. She was a caregiver to her mother until her death; to her son Antonio; cousin Guadalupe, and various families in the valley.

She will always be remembered for her intense sense of justice, her kind and generous heart, and her indomitable spirit. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be at 9:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am, Friday June 10, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ. Interment will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn and Cemetery.
