Our beloved, Nikki Fern Irons, 71 of Goodyear, Arizona, passed away on May 15, 2022, in Goodyear, Arizona. Nikki was born in Toppenish, Washington to Frederick Green and Martha Spino. She was raised in Klickitat, Washington then moved to Valdez, Alaska where she met her husband, Steve Irons in 1983 and later married in 1993.
Nikki worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant until her retirement in 2015. She deeply cared and loved everyone she worked with.
Nikki will be remembered as a kind, caring and loving woman who was known for her spunky and fun personality, thoughtfulness and sincerely caring for others. She had a great sense of humor and making those around her smile and laugh alongside her. She loved celebrating her Native American culture, which included weaving and collecting art. She enjoyed singing, traveling across country on her Harley Davidson, cooking and baking, spending time with close family and friends and having and raising Miniature Schnauzer dogs.
She is survived by her husband Steve Irons, her daughter Susie McGee, step-daughter Erika Holbrook, step-son Brad Irons; 6 grandchildren: Kevin McGee, Kristie McGee, Gavin Delozier, Chaylene Mills, Spencer and Zachary Holbrook; 4 great-grandchildren: David Garcia, Izabella McGee, Ryleigh McGee and Kingsley Taylor. She is also survived by her half-brother, David Northover. She is preceded in death by her father Frederick Green and mother Martha Spino and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her presence in all our lives will be dearly and deeply missed.
A funeral service for family and friends will be held at the Veterans National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in (North) Phoenix, Arizona on June, 9, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. A celebration of life will follow immediately after at the Veterans National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
