Guadalupe Cruz, 58, of Goodyear, AZ died April 2, 2012 in Goodyear. She was born January 11, 1954 in Brownsville, TX to Guadalupe and Aurelia Silva Ortiz. She moved to Arizona in 1963. She battled cancer valiantly for 37 years. She is survived by her husband Ruben Cruz; her sisters Alicia Tijerina, Maria Almaraz, Guillermina Burnias, Olga Murray (her twin); her brothers Regino, Joe, Jose H., and Johnny Ortiz. She was preceded by her parents. Visitation for Guadalupe will take place from 6 to 7pm Monday April 9, 2012 at Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, AZ. The rosary will begin at 7:00pm. Mass for Guadalupe will take place at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd., Goodyear, AZ on Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 10:00am. Burial will follow at West Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, AZ.
