Jeri-Ann Goodman, 87 of Litchfield Park Arizona Passed Away on January 15, 2023 she was born on March 16, 1935 in Stanley Wisconsin to Harry and Dorothy (Stair) Webber.
Jeri-Ann lived a life punctuated by serving others. Whether she was assisting U.S. Servicemen to adjust to life after the Vietnam War, caring for elderly, visiting the imprisoned, welcoming immigrants from Asia or feeding the hungry, she did it with a ready smile and servant's heart. She was the loudest in the stands cheering her children on and later her beloved Phoenix Suns. She was an avid quilter and an excellent Friend, loyal and true. Married to the love of her life, Bill for 64 years, she was quick to laugh, first to hug and a joy to be with.
Jeri-Ann is survived by her three siblings Betty (Webber) Sharp, Robert Webber, and Richard Webber. Her six children Randy (Wendy) Goodman, Karen (Goodman) Cartwright, Kathy Goodman, Dan (Nancy) Goodman, David ( Kristi) Goodman, Jodiann (Jack) Cates. Her five grandchildren, Isaiah Cartwright, Neil (Hannah) Goodman, Dillon Cates, Nathan Cates, Digi Goodman. Her three great-grandchildren, Brijenna Cartwright, Tyajah Cartwright, Ellianna Cartwright.
Jeri-Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William C Goodman, her brother Thomas Webber, and her parents Harry and Dorothy ( Stair ) Webber.
Rosary for Jeri-Ann will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm at Thompson Funeral Chapel 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338 on Tuesday January 24, 2023.
A Funeral Mass will be held 1 pm on Wednesday January 25, 2023 at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 13720 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, AZ 85392.
A private interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery in Arizona at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley 1510 East Flower St, Phoenix AZ 85014 or St Vincent de Paul Society c/o St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 13720 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, AZ 85392.
