George Lopez, 65, of Avondale, AZ, passed away peacefully at home on August 25th, 2013 after a long battle with brain cancer. George was born October 12th, 1947 to Jorge and Lupe Lopez in Madera, CA. George is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cora Lopez; 4 daughters, Monica Root, Maria Lopez, Anahi Robinson and Eva Lopez; 5 sons, Eddie Lopez, John Lopez, Josef King, Antonio Lopez and Sampson Lopez; parents Jorge and Lupe Lopez; 2 sisters, Gloria Vivanco and Gina Zaniroli; 17 grandchildren and numerous other loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by 1 son, Jess Lopez. A memorial service will be help at 11:00am on September 7th, 2013, at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, AZ.
