John La Fleur, 71, of Goodyear died March 14, 2016 in Goodyear.
Mr. La Fleur was born November 9, 1944 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a pharmacy degree and was a pharmacist until his retirement in 1997.
He was a resident of Goodyear since 2000.
John was an active volunteer for many years at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and School and was a founding member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Wildcat Booster Club supporting the school. Most recently John volunteered at St. John Vianney Catholic Church and School.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elzer and Helen La Fleur of La Crosse, WI.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am Friday April 1st at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 La Pasada Blvd., Goodyear.
