Geoffrey M. Dummann, Sr., of Buckeye, AZ, passed away on November 29, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ, at the age of 77. Born on January 14, 1947, in Baraboo, WI, to Carl and Laverne Dummann, Geoff’s life journey took him from the forests of Wisconsin to the landscapes of Alaska and beyond.
As a young man growing up in Alaska, Geoff developed a deep appreciation for music and a talent for playing various musical instruments. His passion for music led him to enlist in the military, where he was honored to serve as a member of the Sixth Army Band in San Francisco for two years. He also trained in electronics and served two tours in Vietnam, experiences that shaped much of his life.
After his discharge, Geoff briefly worked in electronics but quickly discovered his true calling in the automotive industry. He found great success in various roles, particularly excelling in the financial products area, where he thrived in the fast-paced world of car sales. Selling brought him joy, as it fueled his competitive spirit and zest for life.
An eternal optimist with an exuberance for life, Geoff constantly sought new challenges and hobbies. He took up golf, enjoyed fishing, and even discovered a love for painting alongside his wife, Robbi. A talented magician from childhood, Geoff wowed friends and family alike with his professional magic acts, both on stage and off.
Known for his loving nature, generosity, and kindness, Geoff was a true gentleman, always exhibiting loyalty and courtesy. He had a larger-than-life personality that endeared him to family, friends, and even strangers. His warmth and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Geoff is survived by his wife, Robbi Dummann; his daughter, Kathryne Raye; his son, Geoffrey Martin Dummann, Jr.; and his brothers, Carl Dummann Jr., Michael William Dummann, and Ernest Henry Dummann.
A man who lived life to the fullest, Geoff’s legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will continue to shine in the hearts of those he left behind.
