Eleasar Gutierrez, age 69 of Buckeye, AZ passed at home peacefully April 3, 2019, in Buckeye, AZ. He was born November 15, 1949, in Brownsville, TX, one of eight children born to Rafaela Gutierrez. A kind and gentle man, Eleasar never said a bad word about anyone. He was a man of peace, gentle and caring. As a result, he was loved by everyone. He was a hardworking man and worked in maintenance at Mt. St. Francis. He was very good with his hands and could fix anything. Eleasar took his family responsibilities seriously. When he asked his wife Carmen’s father for permission to marry her he was told that he needed to have a job, $100, and a place to live. Eleasar had all of those items the next day, so they got married. They were married for 43 years.
He liked to sing, especially Motown oldies and Elvis. He was fond of westerns and John Wayne. He loved the Dallas Cowboys! He enjoyed starting the day with coffee and sweet bread, talking to his brothers and sisters, and hanging out with his grandchildren. He would often try to be funny, but had a hard time joking without bursting out laughing. His family meant the world to him!
