Don Russell

Russell, Donald Lee (Don) of Buckeye passed away at the age of 75 on September 8, 2010.  He was born at home in Elgin, IL on May 18, 1935 to George and Nettie Russell.  He was the youngest of 7 children.

 Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.  He graduated from the University of Arizona with a BSEE.  He moved his family to Buckeye in 1967.  Don worked for Lockheed-Martin (Loral) for 30 years as an Engineering Technical Manager, retiring in 1997.

 He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Harriett, his son John Russell (wife Valorie) of Buckeye, AZ; his two daughters, Laura Russell of Pahrump, NV, Kimber Russell of Tucson, AZ, and two grandsons Russ and Aiden; his brother Richard Russell (Estella) of Santa Paula, CA, 2 sisters Lois Maschio (Art) of Medinah, IL and Estelle Schneiderwind of Ashland, WI.  He was a loyal dedicated family man.

 A celebration of life was held in the garden at twilight on September 10.
