Jose de Jesus Marquez Castañeda “Chuyo” aged 32, born in Phoenix, Arizona on August 24, 1990. Passed away Saturday October 8, 2022 in Avondale, Arizona.
Jose was a loving and caring young man, had many passions but his favorite being art. He loved to write, read, draw and he had countless sketchbooks which he filled with his favorite visual communication-street art. He would say that was his favorite hobby, he loved to express himself through art. In addition, he loved listening to music, playing basketball, enjoyed working out, and liked hanging out with friends.
Jose was very organized, he was very detail oriented, like he himself would say he was a perfectionist. For example, he would never leave the house without ironing his clothes, specifically his shirt. He cared a lot about his appearance, again with him being a perfectionist, his hair. If his hair wasn’t how he wanted it to be he wasn’t content and fixed it till he was happy, then he would continue in his routine.
He considered himself to be a spiritual person, and him quoting “everything happens for a reason”. If he really wanted something, small or big he tried his best to get it. He had unconditional love for his children, he absolutely adored his babies. They were his biggest inspiration and motivation to keep going everyday.
He is survived by his parents Jesus Marquez and Solia Castañeda. His sons Stonie and Ryder Marquez and his daughter Jerzey Marquez, the mother of his children Talia Colorado. His two younger brothers Oscar and David Marquez and his three younger sisters Jasmine, Noemi and Berenice Marquez.
