Craig spent his formative years in Fort Collins, CO where he graduated from high school. After high school, Craig joined the Navy where he served in active duty for 6 years followed by 4 years in the reserves.
In 2001, Craig met Julie and they were married on June 6, 2003 in North Carolina. Together, they raised three children. The family moved from North Carolina to Colorado to California and finally settled in Arizona. Craig proudly retired from 30 years at Walmart, Inc, most recently as a Director of Operations. He retired in 2024.
Craig was loved for his work ethic, sense of humor and friendliness. He was known to go out of his way for anyone in his orbit who needed his help. He was an amazing dancer who shared this talent with those around him by making them laugh hysterically.
He was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend. Craig’s selfless spirit will be greatly missed. And though we know Craig is no longer with us, his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, December 15th at Liberty United Methodist Church, 19900 W MC 85, Buckeye, AZ 85326. Immediately following the service there will be a Celebration of Craig’s Life at home, 5211 N 189th Drive, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340. Burial will be at National Memorial Cemetery, date TBD. The family suggests that donations be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
