Randy Bramlette

Randy was born in Taft, California to Jack and Ida Bramlette and was the youngest of three children. When he was a toddler, his family moved to a 20-acre cotton farm in Central California where his sheer terror of lady bugs manifested though no one ever understood why. He attended elementary school and most of high school in Hanford, California. Randy, even at an early age, displayed a musical talent which later developed into him being an accomplished drummer in several small bands in California as well as Arizona. Most of his adult life was spent in Arizona where he worked as an iron-worker and welder on many construction projects in the greater Phoenix area; he often described the work he did on what is now known as Chase Field in downtown Phoenix (formerly known as “B.O.B.”). Life for Randy took a drastic turn when he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma that ended his construction career. He was strong enough to recover, but suffered other health issues. While he thoroughly enjoyed his music and loved his dog companions, his greatest passion was his motorcycle. Riding gave him great pleasure and a sense of freedom. Randy will be missed in many ways as a brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, but he will be well remembered for his quick wit and wicked sense of humor.

He is survived by his spouse, Connie Bramlette, step-daughter, Patty Reid, son, Justin Bramlette, step-sons, Michael Roberson and John Moreley, sister, Sharon Antes, fifteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ida Bramlette, and brother, Stephen Bramlette.
