Verna Joy Adams

Verna Joy Adams, age 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 30th, 2019. She was born and raised in Pulaski, TN. to Ola and Mark Barnett and she was the youngest of 8 children. She was an avid fan of NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt, Hank Williams Jr., and the Blues.

Verna's family was her most prized possession. She was an amazing wife, mother, Nanny, Aunt, sister, and best friend whom everyone loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ola and Mark; her husband, Glen N. Adams; son-in-law, Brent Stoll Sr.; and step-daughter, Connie Adams. She is survived by her daughters, Joy (Mike) Sisk, Gwen Stoll, Kristi Kimbro; a step-daughter, Betty Adams; a son, Glen Adams II; a sister, Roberta Kellum; 8 grand-children Michael (Kym) Sisk, Cory (Kristen) Sisk, Melodi (Sean Flaherty) Cheatham, Jennifer (Adam Doyle) Ellis, Brent 'Chip' Stoll Jr., Aaron Adams, Michael Adams, Anthony Adams; 9 great grand-children Addyson Sisk, Michael Sisk III, William Sisk, Logan Welch, Elle Sisk, Carter Cheatham, Meadow Cheatham, Jaydon Allen, Brentley Ellis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearer's: Michael Sisk, Cory Sisk, Brent Stoll Jr., Aaron Adams, Jaydon Allen, and Albert Hempker.

Services will be held at 2pm on Friday and Visitation is 4pm to 8pm Thursday and from 11am-2pm on Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
