Jimmy Overstreet

Born in Nashville, TN to the late Edgar and Audrey (Elliott) Overstreet, Jimmy is also preceded in death by his daughter Sarah Jane Overstreet and son Tony Dewayne Overstreet; brothers James, Wallace, Raymond, J.R.; sisters Bertha, Shirley and Sue.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cheryl; children Deborah Overstreet, Stacy Dampier (Edwin), Jason Davis (Becky); grandchildren Brad Penick, Chad Penick, Colton Davis, Joli Overstreet, Jeremy Overstreet, Aiden Dampier, great-grandchildren Carter, Hunter, Cole and Miller Penick, Bennett and Brayden Overstreet.

An Electrical company owner for many years, Jimmy was an electrician by trade and well known for his impeccable service and hard-work. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people smile. He and his wife Cheryl enjoyed traveling and being outdoors. Jimmy loved nature, Volkswagen Beetles, and spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30th from 12pm – 2pm, with a funeral chapel service to begin at 2pm and burial to follow, all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 S. Dickerson Pike Rd., Goodlettsville, TN.
