Earl "Mutt Dogg" Douglas Williams

Earl "Mutt Dogg" Douglas Williams, age 48, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Madison, Tennessee. He was born Monday, November 25, 1974 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mutt Dogg spent most of his life under the hood of a car. He could tear them apart and rebuild them again. In his younger days, Mutt would race his racecar all over town. Cars were his life’s passion. The only thing he valued more than cars was family.

Mutt always made sure that his family was taken care of when needed. He would spend all day helping his father work in the garage or junking cars. He would care for his mother's yard and plant beautiful flowers everywhere. He tried to make sure his wife had what she needed. He would go to the ends of the earth for those he cared about. Mutt Dogg will live on forever in everyone’s hearts. He will be greatly missed by those who love him.

Proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents; Betty and FB Williams, his maternal grandparents; Cordelia and JT Groves, his aunt and uncles; Paulette and Jack Anderson, Melvin McAbee, and Neal Johnson, his cousin; Kimberly Akers.

he is survived by his wife; Jennifer Williams, his parents; Earl and Geraldine Williams, his sister; Betty Williams, his nieces and nephews; Jessica and Reed Spencer, Michelle Williams, and Sidney Armstrong, his great nephews and niece; Brandon, Alexandrea, and Kohen, his stepchildren; Tasha and Robby Mason, and his grandchildren; Trenidy and Natalie Adkins.

A visitation for Mutt Dogg will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Monday July 31, 2023 from 10:00 until 12:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, July 31, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. John Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Garden of Devotion. Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Johnson, Brian Jackson, Sidney Armstrong, Brandon Williams, Patrick Powell and Reed Spencer.
