Earl Allen Brown

Mr. Brown also known as Papa to the grandchildren; is survived by his wife Sarah Katherine (Bramble) Brown; son, Stephen Douglas Brown; daughter-in-law, Carol Elaine (Poe) Brown; granddaughter, Katherine Elaine (Brown) Blaze; Grandson, Stephen Douglas Brown, Jr.; granddaughter-in-law, Sommer Ellizabeth (Bradford) Brown; great-grandchildren, Bailey Anne Blaze, Georgia Ashton Blaze, Dustin Perry Bradford, Caleb Allen Brown, Sydnie Elizabeth Brown and Lucy Morgan Brown.

Mr. Brown at the age of 15, joined the Merchant Marine, served in the US Navy, was a member of Madison Lodge 762 and a 32nd degree Mason; a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church; he retired from CSX Railroad as a General Car and Wrecker Foreman after 48 years service. After retirement he returned to school to become a craftsman and began caning chairs.

A celebration of life will be conducted 11:00 Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral with Dr. Roger Luther officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with honors by the US Navy.
