Nettie L. Gautreau

A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, at the age of 80. She was a native of St. Amant and resident of Gonzales. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline and Elgene Barnett, Bonnie and Herman Poirrier; sons and daughters-in-law, Irvin and Jackie Gautreau, Gary and Dara Gautreau, Donnie and Dee-Dee Gautreau; sisters, Nita Clampett, Gertie Dickson, Maelise Millet; 19 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and special friend, E.J. Alleman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gautreau, daughter, Susan Acaldo; daughter-in-law, Wanda Gautreau; mother, Lise Lambert; and father, Alie Lambert. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, Monday, July 1, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. There will be a rosary at 5:45 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rubin Reynolds, celebrant. Entombment will be in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in St. Amant. Pallbearers will be Jody Gautreau, Jordy Gautreau, Gary Paul Gautreau, Tyson Barnett, Damon Gautreau, Dustin Gautreau, Devin Gautreau, and Carey Poirrier.
