Mason Patrick Vicknair

Mason Patrick Vicknair, Beloved son, brother, and uncle, was born on January 14, 1998 and passed away on May 1, 2023 at 25 years old. Mason wholeheartedly chose St Isidore of Seville as his patron saint as he was a scholar and shared his knowledge with others.

Mason earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from LSU in just three years, then went on to earn his MBA from SLU.

Mason was an unapologetically unique individual. He loved music, playing video games, writing, reading and spending time on the internet gaining an endless amount of knowledge. Mason was extremely intelligent and passionate about learning and sharing his knowledge with others. Mason didn't give one-word answers; he knew something about everything and loved sharing ALL of the facts!

Mason loved spending time with his family and friends, always making everyone laugh. He was kind and made others feel special and loved.

Mason is survived by his mother Dawn (Charles) O'Hala, father Justin (Amber) Vicknair, grandparents Kenny and Diann Aydell and Terry and Vicki Vicknair, twin brother, Christian Vicknair (Marley Parr), siblings Denver (Kiah) Delatte, Prestin Vicknair, Kadin Vicknair, Hannah (Mason) Goodman, niece Parker Delatte, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

Mason is preceded in death by his Godmother, Sheri Aydell Breaux.

Visitation will be held at St Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church in Maurepas on Saturday, May 6th from 9am to 12pm where mass will be held.
