Lavon "Lonnie" Willis Maulden Jr.

Lavon Willis Maulden, Jr. “Lonnie”, a life-time resident of Ascension parish passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 58. Lonnie was a graduate of St. Amant High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he was a member Theta Xi Fraternity before entering the family business Furnace and Tube Service. Lonnie left behind three loving daughters and their husbands, Kevin & Morgan Maulden Redmann, Kevin & Chelsea Maulden Trice, Jacob & Heather Maulden McCann, and his only son, Landon Lavon Maulden. He has three beautiful grandchildren, Bennett Trice, Lila McCann and Caroline Redmann. Lonnie is survived by his mother, Barbara Maulden, his sister, Lisa Maulden Brasseaux; and his two brothers, Mark Maulden and Jason Maulden. Lonnie is preceded in death by his father, Lavon Willis Maulden, Sr. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, LA on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 10-11a.m. with a memorial service following. The Family is requesting that everyone wear a face mask. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
