Helen Dugas Moss

Helen Dugas Moss, a resident of Prairieville born on September 10, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. She was 87 and a native of Rayne, LA. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Arnold (Kraig), and Kathy Cedotal; three sons, Houston Moss (Patti), Ronnie Moss (Pam), and Terry Moss (Rhonda); 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson: Julie Moss Barnett (Stephen) and children, Hayden and Ava, Lenes "Lenny" Moss (Leigh) and daughter, Ellianna; Shannon Moss Wild (Jeff) and children, Mason and Devyn, Brett Moss and their mother, Pam T. Moss, Van Bush (Stacy) and children, Ashley and son, Isaac, Amber and A.J., Wesley Bush (Ashley) and daughters, Elizabeth and Mallory; Ashley Robeau Bordelon (Shannon) and children Dylan and Brynlee with Baylee on the way, Michael Joseph Moss; Kristi Cedotal Normand (Corey), John Cedotal Jr.; Brennan, Dustin and Andrew Moss and their mother, Taryn Miceli. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Lenes Moss; four sisters and two brothers; and sons-in-law, Johnny Cedotal and Thomas Robeau. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5 pm to 9 pm, with recitation of the Rosary at 7 pm. Visiting will resume at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in Hope Haven Cemetery, Prairieville. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
