Harry John Louque, 76, a native of Gramercy, LA and long-time resident of Saint Amant, LA, passed away on July 20, 2024. He was a graduate of Lutcher High School but a strong supporter of St. Amant High School for many years. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Harry spent his career working as a Maintenance Supervisor at Freeport Uncle Sam as well as owning and operating Martinez Seafood. Harry was passionate about doing things the right way (the Harry Way), cooking, fishing, and LSU Baseball. He cherished spending his final years with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Sr. and Felonise Louque, his sisters, Elaine Breaud and Judith Dubose, and his brothers, Francis Louque and Lynn Louque. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Louque; children, Lane Louque (Kristi), Brandie Louque Murry(Brian) and Tandem Louque (Jennifer); grandchildren, Reigyn Louque (Bryson Collins), Brock Louque, Lainey Louque, Alex Louque, Cole Louque, and Bennett Louque; great-grandchildren, Paisley Collins and Dallas Collins; sisters, Joyce Landry and Iris Poche; and brothers, Eddie Louque, Alvin Louque Jr., and Gary Louque. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at St. John Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial will follow nearby at Serenity Oaks Memorial Garden.
