George Joseph Babin Jr., 77, a beloved native and lifelong resident of Gonzales, LA., peacefully passed away on June 13, 2024. He was the Co-Owner of Airline Glass and Upholstery alongside Ronnie Frederic for an impressive 46 years, until 2018 when he became the sole proprietor. Born to the late George Joseph Babin Sr. and Bertha Babin, George Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Hubert and Helen Delaune, as well as his brothers Boogie, Louis, and Fritz Babin, and sisters Vernell Templet, Elsie Frederic, and Joyce Frederic. George is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 60 years, Sheron Delaune Babin. Together they raised a loving family, including three daughters: Tonya (Harry) Millien, Tammy (Derek) Gautreau, and Tracey (Scott) Allen. His legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Jamie (Chris) Reid, Ashlee (Dustin) Villneurve, Trey Millien, Morgan, Myles George, and Madeline Gautreau, and Savannah "Gracie" Allen, as well as his great-grandchildren: Rhyder, Rydge, and Rynlee Villneurve, Harper and Hudson Reid, and Harlee Millien. Family and friends are invited to celebrate George's life during the visitation at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Following the Mass, a committal service will be held at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum. Trey Millien, Myles George Gautreau, Dustin Villneurve, Chris Reid, Ronnie Frederic, Ralph "Rocky" Frederic, Barry "Coco" Wilson, and Micah Lobell will have the honor of serving as pallbearers.
