Devyn Hebert, 24, was born August 18, 1999 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Roddy Hebert and Regina Hebert. He passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2023 in Marion, Arkansas.
Devyn was an avid sports lover where he excelled in football. His senior year at St. Amant High School, Devyn received all district teams and defensive player honors. Devyn was also a baseball lover where he earned his spot on the Dixie Youth Baseball World Series team. Devyn was the key player to many Championship title wins. He worked in construction as a solar and fiber splicer technician.
Devyn is survived by his mother, Regina Hebert (Ruben Giroir); two brothers, Chace Giroir (Katrina) and Jaxon Hebert; and one niece, Charli Rose Giroir. He is also survived by his grandparents Nancy Lambert (Medric) and Mona Melancon Hebert; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Roddy Hebert; brother, Dylan McClendon; Paternal Grandfather, Rodney Hebert; Maternal Grandfather, Harold “Buck” Buker; and Ronny and Pam Giroir.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life visitation on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA 70737. He will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, 604 E. Hwy 30. Gonzales, LA 70737. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Toby Hebert, Grant Mabile, Chace Giroir, Troy Crook, Glen Keating, and Chase Keating. Honorary pallbearers include: Trevor Crook, Layton Thigpen, and Coach Joe Paille. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
