Denis Noble Marchand

Denis Noble Marchand a life-long resident of Ascension Parish, passed away on April 4, 2021 at the age of 83 years. He proudly served 4 active years, state side in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his daughters, Shawnee Marchand Brock and husband Lance, and Nicole Marchand Winans and husband Beau; Grandchildren, Jonah Brock, Abram Williams, Ava Brock, Eliana Winans and Zion Winans; Significant other of 20 years, Gaynell Bourgeois Moore; Sister, Margaret Santolucito; Brothers, Claude Marchand and wife Betty, Tommy Marchand and wife Monica, and Eugene Marchand ; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Lambert Marchand of 31 years; Parents, Henry and Martha “Mott” Thibodeaux Marchand; Granddaughter, Martha Elizabeth Brock; Sisters, Lynda, Marie, Henrietta and Marceline Marchand; and Brothers, Terry and David Marchand. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales.
