Christine Elizabeth Bennett

A mass of Christian Burial will be held for Christine Elizabeth Bennett on Saturday, July 4, 2015, 1:00 PM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 10:00 AM and continuing until service time at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Granddaughter of James “Tater” Montalbano and Darlene Montalbano who were guardians of this little angel. Daughter of Jessica Montalbano Lyles and her husband Clarence Lyles. Loving big sister of Clarencia Ava Lyles. Niece of Nicole Montalbano and family. Great granddaughter of N.C. and Gerry Gautreau and Nolan Kling, Sr. Christine left this world on July 1, 2015. She was here for a brief stay, but her memory will be long cherished. She had a love for sports and the outdoors: four wheeling, fishing, and hunting. She attended French Settlement High School where she was to be a junior this year. Christine was a very giving and caring person. She had many friends at home as well as at the camp in Bayou Pigeon. She is survived by great aunts, great uncles, numerous cousins, and a very special friend, Mama Gail Henderson. She is preceded in death by great-grandparents Elvina “Noot” Tullier, Eddie and Emma Gautreau, Anthony and Bessie Montalbano, and great grandmother Norma Kling. Pallbearers are Kirk Gautreau, Tim Gautreau, Chris Gautreau, Beau Gautreau, Johnathon Gautreau, Cole Gautreau, Nolan Kling, Jr., and Tyler Datz.
