Ryan passed in the early morning hours of his birthday October 15th at Queen of the Valley Hospital in W. Covina. He is survived by his parents John and Cheryl Richard, his brothers Brandon and Michael, First cousins Brittany Fleck and Christopher McMaster, Jeffery and Timothy Hoffman plus many dozens of family and friends across the country too many to list.
Although he walked the road less traveled and struggled to find his way he did find a new path to follow before he passed.
Ryan carried with him an aura of charisma that was hard to beat. He was able to light up a room with his jokes and energy, and able to connect with anyone interpersonally. He was a polymath, savvy at almost anything that he set his mind to. He was able to learn programming faster than anyone had ever seen. In his junior high years he was the 1st chair in band playing the saxophone. His skill in mathematics unmatched, Ryan was truly a genius. It did not matter if he was playing a trading card game or a new sport like jiu-jitsu; he poured everything he had into honing any new skill he wanted. Ryan is deeply and eternally loved by us all. Here are a few words from a song he liked.
”Shine on forever Shine on benevolent sun Light our way, benevolent sun … Shine on forever Shine on benevolent sun”
